Bastille Day Petanque Tournament

Help the Edmonds Petanque Club celebrate Bastille Day, the French Independence Day, and initiate Edmonds’ new petanque courts at Civic Park Playfield. The Bastille Day Tournament is the perfect way to learn more about the sport of petanque. Please stop by as a spectator or join the fun and register to play. No petanque experience required. The tournament is organized as a “panache” in which players are randomly matched with a new partner for each of four games during the day. Two games before lunch, two after lunch. Beginners and veterans play together. The Bastille Day Tournament offers a great chance to make new friends in Edmonds. Cost to enter is $40, which covers coffee and donuts in the morning, as well as a sack lunch at noon. French cafe music offered by a strolling accordion player during the day. Come join the fun!
