Edmonds Driftwood Players Presents 12th Annual Festival of Shorts
July 1 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Please join Edmonds Driftwood Players for ONE WEEKEND ONLY for EDP’s 12th Annual Festival of Shorts! We received over 300 script submissions and our finalist playwrights span from Seattle to Germany!
Each performance is a showcase of eight short plays that include multiple directors and casts. Come and be a part of our annual festival where the audience votes for a favorite at each performance from among the finalists. The theme for this year’s festival is Pay It Forward. A mix of heartwarming and comedic stories, each short centers around an act of kindness and the difference it can make.
The finalists were chosen by volunteer reading groups who were given blind copies for rating. The shorts must not have been produced for an audience previously. Past winners have later been developed into full-length award-winning plays!
After the closing performance, we will announce the winners for:
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Judges’ Awards
• Overall Audience Favorite
Congratulations to our 12th Annual Festival of Shorts Finalists!
