Edmonds Stewards Training

Are you interested in park stewardship? Removing invasive plants? Planting new native ones? Spending time outside with like minded people in beautiful parks? Then please join Sound Salmon Solutions and the Edmonds Stewards to learn about the program and how you can be a certified Steward! This three hour training will teach you all you need to know about invasive plants and how to remove them, how to ID native plants, and you will leave a certified Edmonds Steward! The training will combine a lesson and hands on work at our hatchery in Edmonds. This event is kid friendly!

What: Annual Edmonds Stewards Training!
When: Saturday, July 9 from 9 am – noon
Where: At our Willow Creek Salmon and Watershed Education Center (95 Pine street, Edmonds)
Why: Come to this training to become a certified Edmonds Steward! Learn about the amazing work we do to keep our community parks clean and healthy!

We really look forward to seeing you all! Edmonds Stewards, please come share your expertise with new incoming stewards and share your story about why you love being a steward.

Light refreshments will be offered.
