oin us at Edmonds Heights K-12 for an in person talk with Kelsie Olds!
“Sensory” is practically a buzzword these days, used to sell you activities on blogs and products in stores. But what is sensory stuff really about, and how are you supposed to tell if a kid is doing something weird because it’s “sensory stuff” or because it’s just “behavior”? Kelsie Olds, the Occuplaytional Therapist, talks through the eight senses, the four sensory processing styles, and how that actually looks in real human beings (not just theory). You’ll walk away from this one with a better understanding of the complexities of the human brain-body connection and hopefully even a deeper knowledge of what goes on inside your kid AND your self!
There will be time at the end for Q & A
