Meadowdale boys lose 49-43 to Enumclaw; face Foster Thursday

Meadowdale High School’s boys basketball team lost 49-43 to undefeated Enumclaw in the first round of the state 3A high school basketball tournament Wednesday. The Mavericks will face Foster of Tacoma in the consolation bracket at noon Thursday. Meadowdale (19-7) was led by Connor Hamlett, who scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.

Meadowdale’s boys’ basketball team dropped a close 49-47 contest to Glacier Peak Thursday night, and as a result will be the Western Conference second seed to the 3A District 1 tournament next week.
